WELCOME to the blog of the Judith's Room community for women writers.

Here we aim to bring you some of the best talent showcased on the Judith's Room groups and forums, introduce you to our members and their writing, share interviews and tips from new and established authors, feature advice, news, book reviews, giveaways and events, and act as a point of reference for all those interested in writing and pursuing a writing career.

Judith's Room was launched at the beginning of January 2010 as a space for women writers to share work, thoughts, advice, critique, and most importantly support, with one another while growing as writers of creative fiction, poetry and life-writing.

Attracting more than 100 members in just 24 hours and growing steadily since, Judith's Room is already a hive of activity and seems to have connected with women writers the world over looking for a place where they can feel empowered and encouraged to pursue their creative dreams, no matter how tentative.

In just a few weeks, Judith's Room has already witnessed some astounding writing talent and opened up many new opportunities, connections and friendships to its members.

We are immensely proud of the community we are building there and this blog aims to expand on the work that as being done and stand as a public celebration of its successes, as well providing information, advice, and entertainment to a wider audience outside of the more closed forum of Judith's Room.

We look forward to contributions from our many members and are excited about featuring their guest posts here.

We're also delighted to feature a book shop of members' books as well as other titles relevant to community and featured monthly book club titles. Buying books through our shop helps to support our work here as well as our members so we really hope you'll take advantage of the feature.
